Iggu Coffee connects the original coffee growers in all corners of Ethiopia, with a specialty in Oromia from the Boji Choqorsa and Charaqi Kobara areas of Wallaga, to worldwide coffee consumers. Iggu Coffee is a family-owned business. The owners were motivated to establish Iggu Coffee after visiting the land of their ancestors, who pioneered coffee farming in Boji Choqorsa and Charaqi Kobara. They were impressed by the industrious coffee farmers of the area, the high-quality taste of the coffee, and the environmental friendliness of the coffee farming practice. However, the traditional coffee transaction system needed to compensate the farmers for their efforts fairly.
Iggu Coffee supports local coffee growers, such as the Boji Choqorsa and Charaqi Kobara farmers, disproportionately disadvantaged beneficiaries of the revenue generated. Iggu Coffee envisions connecting the farmers to worldwide consumers to help them reap the benefits of their hard labor. In addition, Iggu Coffee is committed to providing high-quality service to its customers.
